Roses

We love to make our own decorations, so you will find all of our cakes have handmade decorations made from scratch. One decoration difficult to master are roses but once that you get them they are so easy and beautiful :) but doing more than 300 could be very painful for your fingers!





And voila! the final product will always look delicious!

Irish Tatler Women of the Year Awards

It is being a while since we write a proper post. Well, we are happy and very busy lately and preparing for our big Christmas sales, starting to bake some ginger cookies and finalizing the designs for this year Christmas cupcakes. Also, we will celebrate our first anniversary on December 6th ! Next month is very special for a lot of reasons and we will be having special offers so stay tuned! Peggy Porschen

My dream came true! Last year when I was in a book store I was looking for cupcakes books for inspiration and I found a beautiful book that it caught my attention "Pretty party cakes" by Peggy Porschen and I couldn't resist and I bought it. I really love all Peggy's ideas and wow her roses are out of this world!


A couple of weeks ago I saw in her website and she was giving a master class, of course I booked it ASAP. I was not sure if she was going to be the one that will give the course and what was my surprise when I rang the door Peggy herself was in the door with her big smile! Wow ! I went to her studio, all the beutiful handmade roses and the smell... heaven! She had also a nice table with loads of different cakes :) I eat so much and I had a great time.

We made little cakes that are called fondant fancies with butterflies!

Apple and Cinnamon cupcakes! mmm yummy

Cupcake Pyjamas

Yes I know this blogger is exclusive for cupcakes but I couldn't resist! I went last weekend to Dunnes stores and I found a cupcake pyjama!! Yes it is so cute and adorable and the best it was only 4 euro!! Wow this cupcake obsession is growing day by day!!

We made some cupcakes for baby Emily this weekend. I hope she enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed them making them. It is her first birthday!

Strawberry frosting was delicious! mmmm :)

I wrote Happy in a cake followed by Birthday but I was looking it now and I thought, wow this really makes me happy. I finally have found what I was looking for and I am happy :D

Congratulations Esme!

We got a lovely photo from Esme in her wedding day and the cakes! Wow I love the setting very elegant. Thanks so much Esme for the pics :)

Today we did some cupcakes for Esme's wedding. Base flavours were chocolate, red velvet (without colorant), strawberry, raspberry with chocolate and lemon poppy seed. We also made a cake for the top of the stand it was actually very heavy once that we finish it!

Cupcakes for kids

This week we donate cupcakes and coupons for a free dozen for the Typhoon Morakot Relief Fundraiser for Taiwan and this was the first coupon redeem. We were very happy and they asked us to do cupcakes for babies, boys and girls. I was thinking.... what do babies like and then and idea just came into my head. My sister's baby Sophie loves Elmo and my sister has to repeat Elmo song like 10 times per day, so then we decided to make Elmo for girls and Cookie monster for boys :) They turn out very nice. We also have to add the names of the babies in each cupcake :) We loved the result!

30th wedding anniversary!

I knew depending on the year of the anniversary it is the theme, so for 30th wedding anniversary it corresponds pearls (my favorite element)! We did this for a special couple Lucia and Joe :)

Lizzy is seven today! I was thinking what will be a good theme and since I always love Hello Kitty I decide to do these for her. I hope she likes them too :)

New arrival cupcakes!

Cupcake Camp Northern Ireland

The day arrived! We met all the other bakeries and cupcake fans in one room. It was super cool and inspirational to see all these cupcakes. It was also fantastic to meet the people behind this event, thanks to Ciaran and Barbs. We ate so much... so many cupcakes so little space. Also, we met some girls from Dublin and they want to do the Cupcake Camp in Dublin, if it happens will be so exiting. Well, now some pictures of the event :)

Oh yes, I forgot we also try a new recipe. Boston Cream pie with a twist, instead of the cream we used buttercream as we were worried because of the warm weather the cream won't last too long.
